The GTA University Centre has enrolled in ESI Monitor’s Environmental Business Operations Framework

Great job GTA! It's encouraging to see more businesses prioritising sustainability and climate change.
28/05/22

We are excited to announce that the GTA University Centre has enrolled in our Environmental Business Operations Framework (EBOF). In doing so, they have become Environmental and Social Impact Monitors (ESI Monitors).

ESI Monitors are organisations empowered to continually improve their environmental and/or social sustainability through measurement, minimisation, management, and benchmarking. By becoming ESI Monitors, GTA now has the ability to reduce its carbon footprint and create a consciousness of sustainability throughout the organisation.

Simon Le Tocq, Chief Executive of GTA said: “Our vision is that sustainability will become a part of everything that the GTA University Centre and the Guernsey Institute does: our individual behaviours, how we work together, and how we make decisions. We want to demonstrate leadership to our learners and the wider community and provide an ambitious model for how other organisations can improve their sustainability”.

It’s great to see more businesses put sustainability and climate change on their agendas. Well done to GTA, we’re excited to see the progress you make on this journey!

The Environmental Business Operations Framework is ESI Monitor's legacy product and predecessor to FutureTrack.
